SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome, & Early Brain Development

Talking about SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome is not our favorite topic, but everyone needs to be aware of the ways we can minimize risks for both. This courses covers causes, risks and prevention for both SIDS and SBS. It also covers safe sleep practices for infants. We conclude with the fun part of the training – Early Brain Development. It is critical to understand how the brain develops in order to recognize the ways we can stimulate and encourage development by providing nurturing care and positive experiences for children beginning from birth!
