Slow Down: Appreciating a Child’s Natural Development

Our culture is pushing children to grow up too fast. Public schools, private schools, childcare programs, preschool, and many parents are expecting too much, too soon!  As a result, our children are crumbling under the pressure and losing out on their beautiful childhoods. We must pull back and give children precious time to develop without stress and inappropriate expectations. Let’s start a movement to SLOW DOWN and BUILD UP our greatest blessings…our children.

Kara has held a wide variety of positions during her 26 years in early childhood education, including caregiver, Child Care Licensing Inspector, Trainer, Director, Legal Consultant, and Adjunct Professor. She holds a BS in Psychology and an MA in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. She relies on Jesus daily and is grateful for the messiest of life’s blessings!
