Children are no longer spending long, unstructured hours outdoors. Opportunities to create an awareness of God through His creation and experience the sights, sounds, and textures of nature are being denied. Join this discussion on ways early childhood educators can create pathways to explore nature and nourish a sense of wonder and awe that can serve as a life-long source of joy and motivation for learning.

Mary Ann Bradberry brings many years of experience in Christian education for children to each of her sessions. She has served as a Preschool and Children’s minister, an editor-in-chief at LifeWay Christian Resources and an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University.  After eight years as the Executive Director of Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Association, Mary Ann retired to spend more time exploring the world through the eyes of her granddaughter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education from North Texas State University. Mary Ann lives in Austin, Texas where she attends Real Life Church and teaches a group of curious Kindergarteners.
