Boys in the Classroom: Sowing Seeds of Self-Control

Boys are loud, rough, and super active! In a preschool environment, they can be rambunctious and, sometimes, even destructive.  In this session, we’ll discuss some general characteristics of preschool boys and come away with practical ideas to nurture their hearts and provide what their bodies need so they can thrive and grow in the classroom.

Monica Healer is the Executive Director of the Early Childhood Christian Network. She has a broad range of experience in Christian early childhood care and education – from classroom teacher to administrator. Monica’s passion is to see young children learn about the Truth of God from birth! She believes ministers, administrators, staff and volunteers should be equipped with the latest research-based training available in order to provide the highest quality experience for young children in their first school exposure. Monica has a BBA in Management Information Systems.
