Child Abuse & Neglect-Recognizing and Reporting in Texas

Some of the most difficult circumstances any early childhood professional might face include identifying and reporting child abuse or neglect.  This session shares information in an empathic, and yet very informative style.  You’ll learn how to identify signs of abuse, what questions you should/shouldn’t ask, and what the reporting procedure is.  While this is a hard topic, it is also crucial that we are equipped to protect the children in our care.

This course satisfies the Texas Child Care Regulation annual training requirement as stated in 746.1309(c) for staff and 746.1311(c) for directors. You must complete a Final Quiz with at least 80% correct in order to receive your certificate.
