Allergy Aware

Allergies are on the rise, and today’s classrooms are caring for more children with complex needs than ever before. How do we ensure safety without increasing staff overwhelm? This is a practical session that equips administrators and educators to confidently support students with food allergies and sensitivities. Participants will learn everyday prevention habits, communication strategies, and policy-building tools that protect students, strengthen family trust, and help everyone stay sane in the process.

Kadie Seweryn is a proud wife, mama, and Christ-follower. She is privileged to hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Sciences and a Master of Science in Child Development. She is a Certified Family Life Educator and EMT. Kadie has multiple children with food allergies and has worked in weekday education programs in the past. She currently teaches 1^st graders at a private Christian school in Texas.
